ConnectedSMB Storage Provider Acknowledgements

Introduction

The ConnectedSMB Storage Provider is the result of years of effort of developing and maintaining the SMB stack to make it the robust product it is today.

This work is a an offering to our God who has kept me focused and committed throughout numerous challenges.

I’d like to also thank my wife and children who have encouraged me and tolerated me throughout my career. They’ve had to share me with my passion, which could not have been easy.

The clients of Blue Peach and Connected Way also deserve thanks. They’ve provided the carrot and kept proving to me that the need was there.

I’d like to provide a shout-out to Christopher Hertel, the author of “Implementing CIFS”. It is Chris who provided my first set of training wheels.

And lastely, I’d like to thank those who have contributed software to open source. Your code and examples has provided solutions and has taught ways of implementation that have saved countless hours. In this regard, I’d like to reproduce various copyright notices from these developers and acknowledge their contributions.
